Going to try to jog 5x8 minutes this weekend and see if my hamstring, which is injured, can bear it. Only 2 weeks until Copenhagen marathon... Haven't been running for a month, but if I can run pain free, I'll give it a go... 😊

Garmin is ruthless. Even though I had one night with exactly zero hours of sleep (with my daughter at the ER 💔) it still pushed me for sprints today. That has to be a bug.

Shortened the run due to the knee again (it has *opinions* that I disagree with), and then opted for a nice ride now that I got my bike back from the shop for a short shakedown ride.

Back out again on my new favourite route - Today was more hill, and extending the route by another km. I'm getting closer to making this an east to west coast loop.
Pace today - slow and steady, my feet from running barefoot are definitely stronger, and although running barefoot doesn't make me quicker, I am more stable, and I have way less in-run knee complaints.
My post fall state - No complaints from my ribs - such a relief!

It was a gorgeous sunny day for running until I fell flat on the sidewalk. All is well.
My home key flew into oblivion and I spent 5 minutes looking for it on the bushes… it was on the sidewalk 🤦♂️
In my defense, one of the AirPods flew into the bushes and I found it after 30 seconds. That mislead my key searching algorithm

😜🏔️ Apart from all the other runs on trails and hills I could identify the following "dedicated" sessions for the #niesen #treppenlauf on the city stairs plus hills in town and incline treadmill (I add the stats for the climber for completeness) (note to self - add better tags to your sessions in the log to find them easier).

Stair climber: 19 sessions, 84375 steps, 16776m of EG

Incline treadmill: 11 sessions, 32km, 5.5h, 4494m of EG, 15 % incline (1 with only 9%🤣)

Some stair climber stats from my training for the #niesen #treppenlauf (11700 steps/1669m of EG/3.4km) which will be in 8 weeks.
And 8 weeks ago I started with the stair climber in the gym. Numbers so far: I did 19 sessions and 84375 steps/16776m of EG in 840min (14h) 😳.
Sessions with 1000+ meters (or 5000+ steps): 8.
Longest session: 98 minutes (1890m/9450 steps).
Avg pace all sessions: 100 steps/min.
Avg steps per session: 4441.
Avg EG per session: 883m.
Avg duration of session: 44min.
I am now able to do 1000m/5000 steps in 45min. Started at 60min when attempting it for the first time.
Onto the next 8 weeks.
I will see if I can compile the some numbers for the outdoor stairs - I have done plenty of those as well… 👊

Great to get out and stretch the legs.

Ah that felt nice. Ending the trial before it starts to grab my money. It is simply not worth paying for. Perhaps in a distant future. But I cannot say I believe it will be brilliant in a short (few months) or even mid term period (6-12 months).
So back to the non-subscription mode 👏🏻
Scratch the 5100m of EG. It was very intriguing to do (at least) another 1000m of EG today. Which did now in the afternoon after an easy relaxing morning run.
So I managed to reach 6186m of EG during the last 7 days.
Really satisfied and happy about that.
Another 1000m of EG. They are adding up fast now. ⛰️👊
First 11km easy in the morning through the sleepy neighborhoods. Then 65min at 15% on the treadmill.
Who knew robots have the same problems as humans: shock resistance, refueling, and overheating. Makes you appreciate human body more.

Today I ran the RK4 of the FlamingSkate routes. The route is paved and mainly flat.
It was a test for gear and nutrition. All went well. Have to think about wearing a chest strap since I got some skin irritation from it. But I think its not so important to get such accurate HR data, so opticalHR is enough.
Weather was also perfect: Cold, windy and rainy. My lovelvy weather
