This #Jazz album was the first one I clicked on #bandcamp when I was looking for some soft instrumental music to read to.

Its very drone like with just enough variations and subtleties to keep me alert but not enough that I was distracted from my book.

It was actually oddly mentally stimulating. Maybe its an ADHD thing or maybe it's just good to put on in the background while you focus. I ended up cleaning most of my apartment and then I tried meditation while listening.

Can't quite say I'd recommend meditating to it, but its certainly complex enough that a proper audiophile listen of the first two tracks is worth a couple hours (they're VERY long tracks).

The third track I think is interesting but its interesting to me as a guy who likes jazz because its pretty different from a lot of jazz out there. This whole album is, but track 3 is kinda distractingly different. Arguably annoying with its out of sync use of high hat(?) I think?

I recommend it for people looking for study music or who like more esoteric jazz. I'm certainly going to buy the album this #bandcampfriday

Ich bin ehrlich, ich find' als Nutzer #MusikStreaming super. 🎶 Weder bei Spielen noch bei Filmen kann ich unter verschiedenen Diensten wählen und gefühlt (!) alles an für mich relevanter #Musik auf einer Plattform streamen und so einfach viel Neues entdecken. (Musik) #Radio war leider nie meins.

Trotzdem kauf ich Alben (Platte oder digital via #Bandcamp) oder Merch meiner LIeblingsbands.

Weil #Spotify kacke ist, schau ich mir gerade verschiedene Alternativen an. Inspiriert wurde ich u.a. von diesem #ct-Artikel. Die Dienste müssen bei mir in erster Linie unter #Android und #Linux laufen.

Anschauen werd ich mir wohl folgende Dienste:
#Tidal: Geht auf Linux, Android App ist deutlich aufgeräumter als z.B: Spotify, gehört inzwischen u.a. #JackDorsey.... und man kann Musik darüber auch gut archivieren, arrrrr!

#Qobuz und #AppleMusic (stellte erschrocken fest, dass es das für Android gibt) wollt ich mich auch noch ansehen. Meinungen? Ideen? Vorschläge?

Nervig ist, dass man seine gefolgten Artists, Favs und Playlists selten kostenlos migrieren kann. 😮‍💨 Sind halt alles doch eingezäunte Gärten.
