microhive.social is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.

This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.

Mein Eindruck ist, daß Spam nicht damit zusammenhängt, wie das JID veröffentlicht ist. Ich kriege auf einem Server null spam, ein anderer User sehr viel, dabei ist mein JID viel "öffentlicher" 🤷

Email-Adresse == JID ist sehr nice, habe ich u.a. auf meiner Arbeit so.

Unabhängig davon kann ": The -ID Header Field" in Email nicht schaden.

        I strongly suggest to run both xmpps-client and HTTP upload (and BOSH and websocket, if we are at it) all over 443.

        No idea, if it would have helped in your situation, but it helped me a lot, e.g. in British trains.

          That's just the "normal" domain, location and stuff. I don't have a good example at hand (we have it at work, but the git is not yet public, sorry), maybe others can point to a good tutorial?
