microhive.social is a Fediverse instance that uses the ActivityPub protocol. In other words, users at this host can communicate with people that use software like Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc. all around the world.
This server runs the snac software and there is no automatic sign-up process.
This was my third day of #running in a row. My legs were a bit heavy at first, but then it was OK. Also because I've lost 4 kg since the beginning of April. So, I'm back to a BMI of 22.5. I can only encourage any runner with a few extra kilos to lose weight. It's so much more fun, and it feels so much better.

Week 23, run 1/3
Today I ran along #bicipolitana n.3, 8 and 9. I came to a field track and did two loops of the external park alley.
The whole route wasn't flat, there were a couple of underpasses and bridges, but I didn't have to cross the road even once.
It was a very needed physical movement after yesterday's dinner with so much delicious food inside my belly 😋
Getting up was quite a task this morning since I had fallen asleep on the couch last night. These nearly 50 year old bones of mine are *not* pleased with sleeping there… That cold my youngest daughter spread amongst us still has my nose and throat under its vicious control. The planking part of my warm up routine was *fun* (not). #Running was ok, but I never reached any pace worth talking/writing about. But I made my usual morning route and got back in one piece. Tested my new Shamma Alpha Sandals on an offroad track. With the 12mm thick sole they feel like "normal" shoes but they are still very flexible and comfortable on rocky ground.

Von Montag bis Donnerstag. Jeden Tag 11K. Und am heutigen Freitag noch mal 20,3K. Es hat jeden Tag einfach nur Spaß gemacht, auch wenn zum Ende hin etwas anstrengend wurde 👍
Jetzt weiß ich zumindest wieder ein Stückchen mehr, was alles mit meinen Beinen möglich ist. Es wird noch ein spannendes Jahr 2025 🤗

Ich stelle nicht jeden Lauf in Mastodon hinein, aber der gestrige war besonders. Ein Helikopter mit Anflug auf das Dach eines Krankenhauses war spektakulär nah und entsprechend laut. Dennoch konnte ich entspannt meine Runde drehen trotz heftigen Gegenwind 😅

Needed to recover from a small cold, so I used this slow run to test my new Shamma Alphas aka Mountains Goats.

Short Shake out for the legs this morning.
Out at 5:33 am, 🌡️19°c 94% humidity
So, 5km in 34:40, this is a new PB for me in barefoot shoes, and week by week, I'm slowly getting closer to my all time PB. I think expelling those demons yesterday helped a lot with opening up, plus; the routes not exactly flat, but far more preferable to where I ran my all time best.
Then an easy 2k home, for 7.10km total - a good start to the day, ticked off 👍😁

I had no juice after the 18 km run on Sunday and yesterday's workout. So I kept it easy, including the 5x20s sprints part.
Today we received good news: our eldest son has passed the admission test for the English international class at his future middle school 🎉.
It's a class in French public schools where one subject per semester is taught in English, typically science, history or geography.

I know it would be a tough race but didn't expect it to be this brutal.
After the 2th climb of mount Snowden all the juice in my legs was gone and I wasn't able to make the cutoff time for aid station #2.
Buddy Bas had to throw the towel a little after aid station #2.
But my wife still found us "medal worthy" so we got one from here 😘😘.
